Chief of Defence Communications Inspects Operation Fansan Yamma's Communication Infrastructure

The Chief of Defence Communications, Maj Gen EO Agbebaku, has conducted an assessment visit to Headquarters Joint Task Force Operation Fansan Yamma (HQ JTF OPFY) to evaluate the state of communication infrastructure and equipment supporting ongoing operations.

During the visit, Maj Gen Agbebaku was briefed on the communication architecture, upgrades, and sustainment plans, and inspected key facilities and equipment. He interacted with personnel, commending their commitment and professionalism, and emphasized the importance of effective and secure communication in modern military operations.

The Theatre Commander, Maj Gen WB Idris, welcomed the visit, saying it would strengthen communication efficiency and enhance operational effectiveness. The assessment aimed to evaluate operational readiness, identify challenges, and recommend improvements to command and control capabilities.

The visit included operational briefings, interactive sessions, and a group photograph. Maj Gen Agbebaku assured personnel of continued support, urging them to remain dedicated and innovative in their duties.
