Nigeria Congratulates Kuwait on National Day

The Government of Nigeria has extended its warmest congratulations to the Government and people of the State of Kuwait on the occasion of their National Day, celebrated annually on February 25.

In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended Kuwait’s remarkable national development, institutional consolidation, and contributions to regional peace, economic cooperation, and humanitarian assistance. Nigeria values Kuwait’s engagement in development cooperation and humanitarian initiatives, as well as the growing economic and diplomatic exchanges between both nations.

The statement highlighted the cordial and mutually beneficial relations between Nigeria and Kuwait, anchored on shared values of sovereignty, mutual respect, and constructive engagement. Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, expanding economic collaboration, and deepening people-to-people exchanges for the mutual benefit of both countries.

The Government and people of Nigeria wish His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, the Government, and the people of Kuwait continued peace, prosperity, and progress.
