Ahmadu Fintiri, governor of Adamawa State, has officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statewide broadcast on Friday, the governor confirmed that members of his cabinet, along with key stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, have joined him in moving to the ruling party.
Fintiri stated that the decision was made to accelerate development efforts and to serve the best interests of the people of Adamawa.
