BENUE GOVERNOR PRAISES TINUBU FOR BOOSTING ARMY’S FIGHT AGAINST INSECURITY

The Governor of Benue State, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for providing the Nigerian Army with advanced weapons to tackle security threats. The commendation came during a visit by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, who assured the governor of improved security outcomes in Benue State and beyond.

The COAS attributed the Army’s enhanced capacity to President Tinubu’s support, saying modern weapons and combat enablers will significantly boost operational effectiveness. He appreciated the Benue State Government and residents for their resilience and cooperation with security agencies.

Governor Alia welcomed the deployment of additional troops and reaffirmed his administration’s support for the Army and other security agencies. He commended the Nigerian Army for its commitment to protecting lives and property, saying the COAS’s visit was timely and reassuring.
